Painting Made From Postcards Of The Queen At Lyon And Turnbull

Charlotte Roirdan, from Lyon and Turnbull, poses near portrait of a woman wearing a bikini made entirely out of postcards of the Queen on April 20, 2012 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The portrait Girl in a Yellow Bikini by David Mach, is estimated to raise between £4000 to £6000 at their Scottish Contemporary Sale to be held today (April 25).

The Queen’s life has being remembered in a series of postcard printing in an article in the Financial Times.

As the Queen gets ready to celebrate sixty years as the head of state for Great Britain, the nation gets ready to celebrate this fact, and one of the first nods towards the jubilee is a collection of picture postcard printing exhibited by the Financial Times in its magazine, celebrating all aspects of the Queen’s life in pictures.
